Recycle your e-waste

The number of cell phones, pagers, digital cameras, monitors, computers and PDAs are piling up in our landfills.

All these abandoned devices leak lead, mercury, cadmium, arsenic and other toxic crap into the water supply. Or they get torched by municipalities, which sends all that toxic crud up into the air.

We need to be pro-active and recycle this equipment responsibly.

Recycle (reuse/donate) your digital camera right here and give it another life to an aspiring student photographer.

Got environmental or recycling type content? Upload it and tag it 'environment' or 'recycle' and we will post here.

We support

Treemo is proud to support organizations that help students and youth (of all ages) find new ways to explore and inspire creativity. We just held our inaugural class at Arts Corps, where we hooked up a bunch of kids with donated cameras and instruction, firing them up to capture and consider life as they know it.

Want to set up a program in your community? Email us at general (at) treemo.com.
