- How do I get Treemo on my phone?

The easiest way to see your channel on your phone from the PC is to use the Send My Channel feature. You can send the link to your channel to a phone number on any carrier supported by Treemo. You will receive a message on your phone with a link. Select the link and go to the URL. Actual steps to follow the link will depend on your phone. Refer to your phone's instructions.
If the carrier is not supported, or if the message does not arrive on the phone, you may also get to Treemo by opening the browser on your phone and entering a URL. The URL for Treemo to enter on your phone is www.treemo.com. Refer to instructions from your wireless carrier or your phone's user guide to learn how to open a browser and enter a URL.
- Can I get all of the Treemo content on my phone?
All content that is on the Treemo web site is available on a phone. However, your phone must be able to support the content type. Your phone must be able to support JPG for images, 3GP for videos and MP3 for audio. In addition, you may have restrictions on file size from either your carrier or your phone and may not be able to download files of certain sizes. This will depend on your phone or wireless carrier.
- Am I charged for viewing or downloading content on my phone?
No, there is no fee from Treemo to view and download content. Access to the site is free. Note that you may have data fees that your wireless carrier charges. This will depend on your carrier and wireless data plan.
- How do I subscribe to the Mobile Pro service?
You can subscribe to the Mobile Pro service to receive 2GB per month of storage space and unlimited mobile messaging for $4.99 per month. Standard text messaging rates apply. A $4.99 charge will appear monthly on your wireless carrier billing statement or be deducted from your wireless carrier prepaid balance. - How do I unsubscribe to the Mobile Pro service?
You can opt out of the subscription by sending a text message with STOP to TREEMO (873366) on your mobile phone. Alternatively, if you are a premium subscriber, visit the Mobile page and choose Cancel Service.

Adding Content
- How do I upload photos, video or audio from my phone?
Phones that support multimedia messaging (MMS) or can email attachments can be used to upload media to Treemo. It's fun and it's easy. For your first step, you will need to create an upload email address. Once you are done, type this into your phone or use the tool that we have created for you to send it down to your phone. Then remember to save this in your phone's contacts. This makes it easy to upload images, videos or audio that you take on your phone. Simply send the media to the email address provided by Treemo. Actual instructions for sending an MMS or email will vary based on your phone. Refer to your phone's instructions for sending media to an email address.
- How do I create a text entry from my phone?
First, find your channel, by clicking the
icon at the bottom of any page. Next, select the
icon on your channel home page. Choose the "Add Text" feature and follow the instructions to add text. Once complete, your text will be posted to your channel for friends and family to comment upon from either their PCs or their phones.- How do I add or edit titles, descriptions, set privacy preferences and more?
First, find your channel, by clicking the
icon at the bottom of any page. You can only edit data from content that you own in your channel. Next, find any content in your channel that you wish to edit. Select the
icon next to the title of the media. Follow the instructions to edit of the data you wish to modify for the media and then choose save.
Browsing Content
- How do I find other user's content?

One way to find content is to use the Explore feature. You can search for content by Recent (recently uploaded), Featured (editor's picks), Most Viewed, Most Commented or Most Favorited. When you are in another user's channel viewing their content, you can get to their main channel page by selecting their Username's Channel link at the top of any page with their content. Or return to Explore by selecting this option at the bottom of the page.
Another way to find a specific user is to use the Search for User feature on the main Explore page. Type in a user's first name, last name, or their username (if you know it) and you will find options to get to the user's home page.
You can also try the Advanced Search options from the Explore page which allows you to find content by tags, location, or searching for keywords in the title or description.
Then add the user to your network by selecting the
icon to make it easy to locate the user next time. - How do I find content from My Channel?
- There is a
icon at the bottom of every page which allows you to return to your channel. - What do these icons mean?

This icon appears on your items that you can edit on your phone. You will not see this icon on pages where you are not the owner.
This icon appears on the home page of another user's main channel. This allows you to add the user to your network to get back to their page easily. Users in your network appear on the main page of your My Channel.
This icon appears on your My Channel page. Use this icon to post a new text or for instructions to upload media to your phone.
This icon allows you to go backwards in a user's content folder to see the previous item.
This icon allows you to save the content in your favorites folder, which appears in your My Channel page.
This icon allows you to get additional information about the content.
This icon allows you to flag content as inappropriate. Use this only if you believe the content should be pulled from the general public's view.
This icon allows you to go forward in a user's content folder to see the next item.
- How do I add a comment?
All pages with media support comments. However, you must be logged into Treemo to post a comment. Type in your text and select the Post button.

Other Features
- What is the Messaging feature?
Messages works very similar to email. Unlike Comments, which are available to be viewed by all users, Messages are sent between you and another user on Treemo. Use this feature to share private ideas with someone else on the network.
- What is the Network feature?
Your Network is a quick way to get to someone else's content. Add someone to your Network by using the
icon. Then, they will appear in your Network view on your My Channel home page.

Tips
- Numbered Items...
When you see a line that starts with a number, this is a hot key. You can press the number on your phone for quick access. Some icons also have hidden hot keys as well. For example, when on a content description page, use the 1 button instead of the left arrow, or the 5 button instead of the right arrow to quickly navigate.
