Description

A song from 1989, Dave Grayland on guitar and Neil Williams on Bass, I'm on vocals and a small bit of guitar. We recorded about 60 songs in my new house that year and split due to an argument about biscuits and a chinese meal.

Nice one. Did you ever send your songs to anyone ? I can imagine this being a big hit in the right hands.

We used to argue about that too, we had a great reject letter from ZTT records which may have had something to do with ex stiff records people. We needed to gig too to get our songs out there, but I think this has potential for Cliff Timid or someone.

I really enjoyed that, thanks for posting it from ye olde archives.

Those must've been the "artistic differences' I hear invariably split up every other featured "Behind the Music" group? The ones that don't wind up in drug rehab that is?

I swear every episode/career has the same dynamic/arc. Except the Weird Al story... 25 years later and he's still playing with the same bandmates, has his first ever top 10 hit, a beautiful wife and kid and the love and admiration of a crazed, growing multi-generational fan base. I think he kind of ruined their usual vibe?
