butterflies several times. The large butterflies are difficult to find :/
Thanks, josh! This small dragonfly perched several time in almost identical pose. I think the dry
seedhead is a coreopsis, sorta like a yellow daisy.
This pic is with my Canon EF 70-200mm f/4 L IS
USM lense. It was fitted on a Rebel XSi body, so cropping still leaves an image with decent resolution. I
think this file was at 200mm from about four feet. The 2 mode of IS is extraordinary. It orients the gyros for
tracking moving subjects such as a train
