So I took a day...and went to one of my favorite littl' places, Port Townsend, WA.
Purposely left all cameras...video, digital and otherwise at the 'Labz. No broadband, no cable, no laptop, no ipod...3 quarters for a USA Today, my debit card, and good ol' comfortable boots.
Yes, I took a couple quick pics with the cell-cam...had to, sorry. But was otherwise 'Unplugged' for a day. Bought a nice Dominican cigar and walked around the wee waterfront-hamlet.
No deadlines, no politics, no drama...I did absolutely NOTHING for one whole day. walked around..grabbed 2 slices...did a crossword, window shopped (ended up buying 2 puppets..lol, c'mon...look who your dealing with here). 'Twas a much-deserved downtime day...
Sometimes you just gotta step off for a sec.
Grim recharged, now if you'll excuse me...it's Thursday night and I'm gonna try and bang out a quick puppet video for my self-imposed Friday video output.
